Delete Your Ray The Whale Account

Request Deletion In The App

1. Open Ray The Whale and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the Me tab.
3. Open Privacy & Data.
4. Choose Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.

Request Deletion By Email

If you cannot access the app, email mjwong@spectrumparadigm.com from the email address used for your Ray The Whale account. Include the subject line Ray The Whale account deletion request.

Data Deleted

• Account profile, sign-in identities, session records, and app settings.
• Vocabulary items, examples, quiz attempts, review progress, streaks, and learning snapshots.
• Photo capture conversations, uploaded images, extracted words, and related processing records.
• Privacy export or deletion request records after the request has been completed, unless retention is legally required.

Data We May Retain

• Payment records handled by Apple or Stripe may be retained by those providers and by Spectrum Tech Consulting Company Limited as required for billing, tax, refund, dispute, security, or legal compliance.
• Security, abuse-prevention, and diagnostic logs may be retained for a limited period when needed to protect the service or investigate reliability issues.
• Aggregated, de-identified operational metrics that cannot reasonably identify a user may be retained.

We review deletion requests and complete them within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law, security, billing, dispute, or abuse-prevention needs.
